We are looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to handle day-to-day garment production and ensure orders move smoothly from cutting to packing and dispatch.

The role requires strong follow-up, floor coordination, quality awareness and the ability to achieve production targets on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Production Follow-up

- Follow up the complete production process from cutting, stitching, checking, ironing, finishing and packing
- Ensure production is completed as per daily and weekly targets
- Monitor order status and identify delays at each stage
- Coordinate with production units and workers to ensure timely completion
- Follow up outsourced / job-work production when required
- Ensure priority orders are completed according to delivery schedules

2. Cutting & Stitching Coordination

- Ensure fabric and cutting requirements are ready before production
- Follow up cutting quantities against order requirements
- Coordinate stitching production and monitor output
- Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action
- Ensure correct styles, sizes and colours are being produced

3. Quality Control

- Ensure garments meet required quality standards
- Monitor stitching quality, measurements, finishing and workmanship
- Identify recurring defects and coordinate corrective action
- Reduce rejection, alteration and rework




- Ensure final checked quantities are ready before packing

4. Sampling & New Production

- Follow up development and production samples
- Coordinate sample requirements with concerned teams
- Ensure approved specifications are followed during bulk production
- Highlight production feasibility issues before bulk manufacturing

5. Manpower & Floor Management

- Allocate work according to production priorities
- Monitor worker productivity and output
- Coordinate with supervisors, tailors, checkers, helpers and packing teams
- Maintain discipline and smooth workflow on the production floor
- Identify manpower shortages and inform management

6. Stock & Material Coordination

- Coordinate fabric, trims, labels, elastic, packing materials and other production requirements
- Ensure materials are available before production begins
- Monitor work-in-progress quantities
- Help maintain accurate production and stock records
- Report material shortages or excesses promptly

7. Packing & Dispatch Coordination

- Ensure finished garments are checked, packed and ready on schedule
- Coordinate packing according to order requirements
- Verify quantities before dispatch
- Work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams




- Ensure orders are handed over without unnecessary production delays

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS• 2–7 years of experience in garment / textile production

- Good knowledge of knitwear or apparel manufacturing processes
- Solid understanding of cutting, stitching, checking, finishing and packing
- Ability to follow production targets and delivery schedules
- Good manpower-handling and communication skills
- Strong production follow-up ability
- Basic knowledge of production records and Excel / Google Sheets preferred
- Ability to identify production problems and solve them quickly
- Experience in Tirupur garment manufacturing environment will be an advantage

Order Planning → Cutting → Stitching → Quality → Finishing → Packing → Dispatch The candidate should be comfortable working on the production floor, continuously following up with teams and ensuring that orders are completed on time, in the right quantity and with the required quality.

COMPENSATION? ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Final salary will depend on experience, garment production knowledge, manpower-handling ability and previous responsibilities.
