Role Overview
We are looking for a Backup Engineer – L1 to monitor backup infrastructure, troubleshoot backup failures, and support day-to-day backup and restore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily backup jobs and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot backup job failures and basic backup issues.
- Perform backup and restore operations.
- Monitor backup status and identify failures/anomalies.
- Prepare backup reports and maintain operational documentation.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2 teams.
- Follow defined backup monitoring and incident management procedures.
