As an experienced Oracle Functional Finance Consultant in Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud you will be responsible for leading and supporting financial process optimization, system configuration, and end-user enablement. The ideal candidate will have expertise across core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Credit Management, Tax ) for all O2C , R2R and P2P business processes with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

nResponsibilities and Job Duties

n

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance process requirement
n
- Configure and maintain Oracle Financial modules including:
n
- General Ledger (GL) – Ledgers, Chart of Accounts, Allocations, Journals, Accounts Payable (AP) – Invoice processing, Payments, Accruals Accounts Receivable (AR) – Customer billing, Receipts, Adjustments, BPA, Fixed Assets (FA) – Asset additions, Depreciation, Retirements, Cash Management (CM) – Bank reconciliations, Cash forecasting, Tax Management – Fusion Tax, Vertex, Avalara integration

- Map business processes for P2P, O2C , and R2R cycles to Oracle functionalities
n
- Develop functional specification documents (MD050), BRDs, and configuration workbooks
n
- Lead Data Conversions, Mappings, FUT and own all the Finance related objects for (opening balances, AP/AR transactions, assets)
n
- Coordinate with technical teams on integrations (OIC, BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View)
n
- Conduct system testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues; manage Oracle SRs for defect resolution
n
- Provide end-user training and create process documentation
n
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close activities
n
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality deliverables
n




- Decent understanding of Revenue Accounting principles ASC 606 and ASC 842
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues
n
- Manage Oracle SRs for defect resolution with quick turnarounds
n
- Provide end-user training and create user guides / process documentation
n
- Design and implement approval workflows for finance transactions
n
- Assist in financial reporting setup (FRS, OTBI dashboards, BI Publisher reports)
n
- Advise on system best practices to optimize financial processes and reduce manual effort
n
- Perform impact analysis for current releases, patches, and enhancements
n
- Participate in project planning including estimations, timelines, and deliverables tracking
n
- Ensure SOX compliance and other regulatory standards in system setup
n
- Assist in change management activities, including communications and training rollout
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for financial systems
n

nQualifications

n

n
- 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Finance Consultant Fusion Cloud
n
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP / IFRS)
n
- Hands-on experience configuring GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Credit Management and Tax modules
n
- Strong experience within O2C.
n
- Experience with financial reporting tools (FRS, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)
n
- Understanding of financial integrations with third-party systems
n
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
n
- Team Player working with all internal and external stakeholders including vendor partners
n
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders
n

nPreferred Qualifications

- Oracle Financials Cloud Certification
n
- Experience working for Leasing, Retail and related Industries
n
- Exposure to Revenue Recognition principles, integrations with 3rd parties and related reconciliations

- CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification
