About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Biotechnology / Microbiology Intern to support our R&D; and production team in developing and producing microbial-based agricultural biologics, including biofertilizers, biopesticides, and bioinsecticides.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in microbial culture handling, formulation development, and laboratory experiments.
- Support fermentation, culturing, blending, and production activities.
- Assist in testing CFU counts, microbial purity, contamination, and stability.
- Support evaluation of carriers, nutrients, stabilizers, and other formulation components.
- Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, batch records, and experimental documentation.
- Assist with quality control and basic analytical testing.
- Support R&D; activities, data collection, analysis, and product improvement.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, biosafety,



and quality standards.
- Assist the team in scaling microbial formulations from laboratory to pilot production.

Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of microbiology, microbial cultures, fermentation, and agricultural biologicals.
- Knowledge of CFU enumeration, aseptic techniques, and laboratory practices is an advantage.
- Strong interest in agricultural biotechnology, sustainable agriculture, and microbial technologies.
- Valuable analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
