Role description

Data Engineer / ETL Developer (DataStage & IICS) Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT jobs using IBM DataStage and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple source systems. Develop, optimize, and maintain mappings, workflows, pipelines, and data integration processes. Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data issues. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and technical teams to understand and implement data requirements. Support data migration, data warehousing, and system integration initiatives. Participate in deployment, scheduling, and production support activities. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.

Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataStage and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.

Experience with data migration, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. Expertise in data validation, reconciliation,



and performance tuning. Understanding of ETL scheduling, deployment, and release management processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a team-oriented environment. Preferred / Optional Skills Experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS). Exposure to cloud data integration platforms and modern data architectures. Knowledge of ETL best practices, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
