Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, maintain food quality, and hygiene, and ensure smooth restaurant and banquet operations

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen operations

- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and workflow
- Plan daily preparation and coordinate all kitchen sections
- Ensure timely preparation of restaurant and banquet orders

Team Management

- Supervise Chefs, Commis and kitchen staff
- Allocate duties and prepare kitchen staff schedules
- Train and guide team members

Food Quality & Standards

- Maintain consistent food quality, taste and presentation
- Ensure proper portion control and cooking standards
- Implement and follow kitchen SOPs

Cost & Inventory control

- Monitor food stock and ingredient requirements
- Coordinate with Purchase team for daily requirements
- Control food cost, wastage and portion sizes
- Ensure proper storage and FIFO practices

Hygiene & Food safety

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
- Ensure proper food handling and storage
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards

Coordination & Administration





- Coordinate with F&B;, Purchase and Operations teams
- Monitor kitchen equipment and maintenance requirements
- Handle day to day kitchen operation issues
- Prepare and maintain kitchen-related reports when required

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of kitchen operations
- Good leadership and team - management skills
- Knowledge of food cost and wastage control
- Good Inventory management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good Problem solving ability
- Ability to manage high-volume restaurant and banquet operations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet service timelines
- Experience - 5 - 10 years experience in hotel / Restaurant / Banquet kitchen operations experience preferred
