Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Surat.

The Junior Interior

Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and assisting with space planning and material selection for various project types. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating drawings, coordinating FF&E; schedules, assisting in site measurements, and supporting the preparation of presentations and mood boards. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, architects, and contractors, attending site visits, and helping ensure that design intent is maintained during execution.

Designer is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain organized project documentation, and meet timelines under guidance from senior team members.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional and visually coherent layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings to understand building systems and prepare or revise technical documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to assist in selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
- Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools, and proficiency with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, basic project coordination abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting are required.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with internship or junior-level experience on real projects, is preferred.
