About the Role

Melhor Group is looking for a creative, technically sound and detail-oriented Junior Architect to support our residential and real-estate development projects in Goa.

The candidate will be involved in architectural design, working drawings, 3D visualization, consultant coordination, site visits and project execution, working closely with the Senior Architect, project team and site team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design & Planning

- Assist in conceptual planning and architectural design of residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, layouts and presentation drawings.
- Assist in space planning, façade development and landscape integration.
- Develop design ideas based on project requirements and site conditions.

2. Working & Construction Drawings

- Prepare detailed architectural working drawings and GFC drawings.
- Prepare architectural details, dimensions, sections and construction details.
- Make revisions based on site requirements and inputs from senior architects/consultants.
- Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions and project documentation.

3. 3D Visualization

- Prepare basic 3D models, views and presentation material.
- Assist in developing project presentations, façade options and design proposals.
- Create visualizations using SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, 3ds Max or similar software.

4. Site Coordination & Execution

- Conduct regular site visits and take site measurements when required.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and vendors.




- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the Senior Architect.
- Assist in resolving architectural issues arising during execution.
- Ensure architectural work is executed as per approved drawings and design intent.

5. Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape and other consultants.
- Follow up on pending drawings, clarifications and revisions.
- Assist in ensuring timely release of drawings required for site execution.

6. Materials & Documentation

- Assist with material selection, finishes and architectural specifications.
- Prepare material schedules, BOQs and other project documentation.
- Maintain updated project drawings and records.

7. Approvals & Compliance

- Assist the senior team in preparing drawings and documentation required for statutory approvals.
- Develop a working understanding of applicable Goa building regulations, planning norms, RERA requirements and local authority processes.

Required Qualifications

- B.Arch – Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in architecture, real estate, construction or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
- COA registration will be an added advantage.

Required Technical Skills

- AutoCAD – Mandatory
- Good knowledge of architectural working drawings.
- Knowledge of SketchUp preferred.




- Knowledge of Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray / 3ds Max / Revit / Photoshop will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of RCC, MEP and construction methodology.
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural and structural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of BOQ, material specifications and project documentation.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should not be limited to drafting work. We are looking for someone who is willing to take ownership from design and drawings through site coordination and execution, while learning and developing under the Senior Architect / Project Head.
