Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Architect role based at the HAIR RAP BY YOYO salon in Ahmedabad.

The Interior

Architect will design and refine salon spaces to enhance client experience, staff workflow, and brand identity, including layout planning, material selection, lighting design, and functional zoning. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior concepts, preparing drawings and 3D visualizations, coordinating interior fit-outs, and collaborating closely with salon leadership to align design solutions with the brand’s aesthetic and operational needs. The role involves working with contractors and vendors, overseeing execution quality, and ensuring projects meet safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards.





The Interior

Architect will also contribute to ongoing improvements of the salon workplace, proposing new design ideas that support comfort, efficiency, and a distinctive, trendsetting atmosphere.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Architecture and Architecture, with the ability to translate brand vision into functional, aesthetic spaces.
- Candidates should possess solid Interior Design and Interior Fit-out skills, including material selection, detailing, and coordination during construction and installation.
- Candidates should possess effective Space Planning skills, ensuring optimal traffic flow, workstation placement, and client comfort within salon environments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Interior Design, and experience in commercial or hospitality projects are beneficial.
- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit), strong visualization and presentation abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience designing high-end or experiential retail or salon spaces, knowledge of building codes and safety standards, and a portfolio demonstrating creative, client-centered interiors are highly advantageous.
