Company Description

Finforeca is a finance-focused organization dedicated to simplifying financial decision-making through Enterprise Finance AI and specialized Finance Shared Services. The company delivers strategic solutions such as Fractional CFO, FP&A;, F&A;, M&A;, and Finance Business Partnering, enhanced by transformative digital tools. A key offering is its Corporate Cash Flow Planning Platform, designed to improve clarity, agility, and foresight in managing corporate cash flows.

Finforeca’s mission is to revolutionize enterprise finance by aligning strategy, increasing visibility, and future-proofing financial operations. Leveraging global, cross-industry experience, the company helps finance teams modernize with AI-driven tools and data-backed insights for better profitability, performance, and cash flow management.

Role Description The FP&A; Analyst role at Finforeca is a full-time remote position focused on supporting strategic financial planning and analysis for clients and internal stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial models, analyzing performance against budgets and forecasts, 13-week cash flow models, financial reporting and analysis, and generating actionable insights to support decision-making. The FP&A; Analyst will collaborate with finance leaders to develop budgets, long-term forecasts, and scenario analyses, and contribute to cash flow planning initiatives.

The role also involves creating clear reports and dashboards, interpreting complex financial data, and supporting digital finance transformation projects powered by AI and advanced analytics.

In this role, you will be the FP&A; engine behind FP&A; and fractional CFO engagements. You will own the operating model for each client, keep it tied to the books every month, and turn it into the budgets, forecasts, cash views and board materials that founders and investors actually use.

The CFO sets the narrative and the judgement calls; you make sure the numbers behind them are right, current and explainable.

What you will do

- Planning and forecasting: build and maintain driver-based annual budgets and rolling three-statement forecasts for each client, refreshed after every close; run scenario and sensitivity analysis for hiring plans, pricing, fundraising and runway.
- Cash: own the 13-week cash flow forecast, with weekly actuals from the shared services team, variance to prior forecast and a clear view of the cash low point.
- Reporting: monthly Budget vs Actual and Forecast vs Actual with variance commentary that explains the business; KPI dashboards covering SaaS and subscription metrics (ARR, MRR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV), gross margin, unit economics, working capital and headcount; board, investor and lender packs on each client's cadence.
- Modeling and special projects: fundraising and investor models, pricing and margin models, pressure-testing existing client models; M&A; and channel-partner support including data rooms, quality-of-earnings style analysis and roll-up models; revenue and deferred revenue waterfalls on an ASC 606 basis so forecasts reconcile to GAAP actuals.
- Client and team: present analysis to founders and department heads and follow through on actions; standardize model templates, reporting packs and checklists; review and validate AI-generated analysis from Finforeca's delivery tooling before it reaches a client.

What you bring

- 4 to 7 years in FP&A;, corporate finance,

transaction advisory or a Big 4 / consulting analytics role, with at least 2 years supporting US or other international clients or business units.
- Advanced Excel modelling: three-statement models that balance, driver-based builds, scenario toggles, clean structure. Google Sheets fluency expected; Power BI, Tableau or similar is a plus.
- Comfortable reading a US GAAP trial balance and reconciling a forecast to it; familiar with SaaS metrics and subscription revenue mechanics.
- Crisp variance commentary and the ability to present to non-finance leaders in plain English.
- MBA (Finance), CA, CMA, CFA (any level) or equivalent; robust candidates with a different background and a demonstrable modelling portfolio are welcome.
- Experience using AI tools to build financial statements, schedules, reconciliations and analysis in Excel or Google Sheets, and to produce related presentations or browser-based visualizations, is a plus.
- Able to work an India-day schedule that extends to 10 to 11 PM IST on most days to overlap with US mornings.

What we offer

- Competitive compensation: fixed CTC plus an annual performance bonus.
- Fully remote, anywhere in India. Company-provided laptop, health insurance, PF and gratuity.
- CFO-level mentorship and direct exposure to boards, investors, lenders and M&A; across several industries.
- Small team with direct access to the founder, and a path into FP&A; Lead or Finance Business Partner as the practice grows.

How to apply

Apply through LinkedIn and attach your CV; applications reach our hiring team directly. In your CV or a short cover note, tell us about the US client books you have run: systems used, close timelines you held, and the most complex reconciliation or accounting issue you resolved. Shortlisted candidates will be asked for a brief practical exercise before interviews.
