Forward Deployed Engineer — Applied AI

Location: Noida / Gurugram, hybrid

Notice period: Immediate to 30 days preferred

Role Description

You will work where the business problem meets the engineering: messy data, a real operational need and often no clear spec.

Your job is to get a working solution into users’ hands within weeks, validate it against an agreed success metric, then harden it for production.

You will own enterprise AI deployments end to end, from discovery and scoping through implementation, rollout and production handover. You will work directly with business stakeholders and engineers, and contribute reusable capabilities back to our core products.

Day to day, you will:

- Turn vague business asks into scoped problems with transparent success metrics and acceptance criteria.
- Build prototypes quickly using data, models and APIs, then productionise the solutions that demonstrate value.
- Integrate with customer systems and deploy into constrained environments, including on-prem and restricted networks.
- Run demos and working sessions with business stakeholders, using their feedback to shape the solution.
- Own evaluation, reliability,



documentation and production handover.
- Bring lessons from deployments into core product development.

Qualifications

- 5+ years shipping software or ML systems, including at least 2 years working directly with customers or business stakeholders.
- Strong Python and SQL, with enough depth across data processing, models and APIs to build a working solution independently.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform, plus Docker and CI/CD.
- Experience taking an unclear problem through scoping, implementation and production rollout. Bring one example—we will go deep on your decisions, trade-offs and results.
- Ability to explain technical decisions and business outcomes clearly to a non-technical audience.
- Judgement about when to use AI, when a simpler approach will work, and what is ready for production.

Good to have

- Databricks or Snowflake experience.
- BFSI or lending domain experience.
- Experience building and evaluating LLM applications.
- Experience deploying into on-prem or restricted environments.
- Technical discovery, solution consulting or pre-sales exposure.
