About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer who can work at the intersection of AI, engineering, product and customers.

This is a highly hands-on, customer-facing role.

You will work directly with enterprise customers to understand their business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, build and deploy AI-powered workflows, integrate with customer systems and troubleshoot issues in production.

You should enjoy solving problems where the requirements are not always clearly defined and be comfortable taking ownership from customer requirement → solution design → development → deployment → production support.

What You Will Do

- Work directly with customers to understand business workflows, technical requirements and implementation challenges.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable AI/automation solutions.
- Design, develop and deploy AI-powered voice and agentic workflows.
- Build integrations with APIs, CRMs, databases, SFTP, telephony and other enterprise systems.
- Work with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and AI/agent orchestration frameworks.




- Develop backend services and APIs using technologies such as Python and FastAPI.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across AI models, APIs, integrations, infrastructure and application layers.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and solution discussions with customer technical and business teams.
- Build rapid POCs and prototypes to validate solutions before production deployment.
- Monitor deployed systems and identify opportunities for improving reliability, latency, accuracy and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Document technical solutions, integrations, workflows and deployment requirements.
- Take ownership of customer deployments from initial requirement gathering through production.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

- 3–6 years of professional software/engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML/GenAI applications.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, APIs and AI application development.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
- Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and work in ambiguous environments.




- Willingness to work directly with enterprise customers and participate in customer calls/meetings.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Positive to Have

- Experience with voice AI, conversational AI or contact-center technology.
- Experience with RAG, vector databases or agentic AI.
- Experience with LangChain or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with FastAPI, MongoDB or other backend technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Experience integrating CRM, telephony, WhatsApp, SFTP or enterprise systems.
- Experience working with BFSI, fintech or other regulated industries.
- Experience taking AI products from POC to production.

What Makes This Role Different This is not a traditional software engineering role where you simply receive tickets and build features.

You will be expected to:

Understand the customer → identify the problem → design the solution → build it → deploy it → troubleshoot it → make it work in production.

- The role may require occasional travel for customer meetings/deployments.
