– Account Head
Position Details
Designation: Account Head
Department: Finance & Commercial
Location: Head Office – New Delhi
Reporting To: CEO / Managing Director
Role Purpose The Account Head will be responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, commercial governance, tender finance management, project profitability, statutory compliance, risk management,
treasury operations, and financial planning.
The role requires a strategic finance leader capable of supporting large-scale government projects,
museums, experience centres, exhibitions, EPC works, infrastructure projects, and corporate engagements while ensuring financial discipline, sustainable growth, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial modelling.
- Advise leadership on strategic investments, business expansion, and capital allocation.
- Provide financial insights for decision-making and organizational growth.
B. Financial Operations & Accounting
- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and controls.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow, and working capital.
- Establish solid internal financial control systems.
C. Tender Finance & Commercial Management
- Lead financial evaluation and commercial review of government and private tenders.
- Review eligibility criteria, turnover requirements, solvency certificates, and financial compliance
requirements.
- Manage Bid Security, EMDs, Performance Bank Guarantees,
Security Deposits, and Retention
Money.
- Evaluate project commercial risks before bid submission.
- Work closely with BD, Procurement, PMC, and Project teams during tender preparation.
- Ensure financial viability and profitability of all submitted bids.
D. Project Costing & Profitability Management
- Develop project costing frameworks and profitability models.
- Review BOQs, vendor costing, procurement budgets, and execution budgets.
- Monitor project-wise profitability and margins.
- Track cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct variance analysis against approved budgets.
E. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
- Optimize working capital cycles.
- Manage loans, overdrafts, credit facilities, and bank guarantees.
- Ensure availability of funds for ongoing and upcoming projects.
F. Compliance, Audit & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, Labour Laws, TDS, PF, ESI, and other
statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and government audits.
- Develop risk mitigation frameworks.
- Ensure financial governance and compliance standards across the organization.
G. Procurement & Commercial Governance
- Review procurement contracts and commercial agreements.
- Establish approval matrices for expenditures and procurement.
- Ensure commercial compliance across projects and vendor engagements.
- Support negotiation of major contracts and vendor agreements.
H. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead Finance, Accounts, Commercial, Compliance, and Billing teams.
- Develop team capabilities and succession plans.
- Establish KPIs, reporting structures, and performance review systems.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
I. Management Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Prepare monthly MIS, dashboards, and board reports.
- Provide project profitability reports and financial health indicators.
- Present financial performance reviews to management.
- Support business decisions using data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- MBA Finance / CFA preferred.
Experience
- 12–20 years of experience in Finance, Commercial, Treasury, and Compliance.
- Experience in EPC, Infrastructure, Museums, Events, Exhibitions, Construction, Government
Projects, or Experiential Design industries preferred.
- Proven experience handling large government tenders and project-based businesses.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
