Key Responsibilities

- Edit and proofread manuscripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and readability.
- Check content for factual accuracy, conceptual correctness, and consistency.
- Ensure content is appropriate for the intended class, age group, and learning level.
- Review manuscripts according to prescribed curriculum, syllabus, and educational guidelines.
- Coordinate with authors and subject matter experts for corrections, revisions, and content improvement.
- Check chapter structure, headings, exercises, activities, illustrations, tables, captions, and answer keys.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, style, and language throughout the book.
- Prepare and maintain editorial comments and correction sheets.
- Review designed pages and PDFs before final printing.




- Check page proofs for missing text, incorrect placement, formatting errors, and other production-related issues.
- Work closely with the design, typesetting, illustration, and production teams.
- Conduct multiple rounds of proofreading whenever required.
- Ensure projects are completed within assigned deadlines.
- Suggest improvements to make educational content more engaging, transparent, and learner-friendly.
- Maintain high editorial and publishing quality standards across all assigned projects.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
