About the Role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team and provide day-to-day technical support to our employees. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of desktops, laptops, networks, printers, email systems, and travel-related applications used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day IT and desktop support to employees.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, email, internet, LAN/Wi-Fi, and VPN issues.
- Support employees using travel booking portals, airline/hotel booking systems, CRM, and other business applications.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and system issues that may impact travel booking and ticketing operations.
- Set up computers, email accounts, software, and system access for new employees.
- Manage employee IT assets and maintain proper inventory records.
- Handle basic Active Directory/user account administration.
- Monitor and resolve IT support requests within defined timelines.




- Coordinate with internet, hardware, software, and other IT vendors when required.
- Maintain documentation of IT issues, resolutions, assets, and system configurations.
- Ensure systems are updated and comply with company IT and security policies.
- Provide urgent technical support to business teams when required.

Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support / IT Support.
- Good knowledge of Windows, MS Office, hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Knowledge of Active Directory will be an advantage.
- Experience supporting travel agency software, booking systems, GDS, CRM, or ticketing applications will be preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced travel agency workplace.

Preferred

Experience in an air ticketing/travel agency environment and familiarity with systems such as CRM, or online booking platforms will be an added advantage.
