Role Description The Clearance & Settlement Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The role involves managing daily clearance and settlement activities for financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, investigating and resolving transaction discrepancies, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintaining clear documentation and reports. The associate will also support process improvements, adhere to risk and cybersecurity guidelines related to financial data, and communicate status updates and issue resolutions to relevant parties.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret transaction data, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Services to understand clearing and settlement operations, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders, and to document and report findings clearly.
- Candidates should possess awareness of Cybersecurity principles related to handling sensitive financial information and ensuring data protection.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in clearing and settlement, operations, or back-office roles in financial services is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software are beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adhere to compliance and risk management standards is expected.
