Key Responsibilities :

nClaims Management

nRegister and process corporate insurance claims in a timely manner.

nLiaise with insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and third parties to manage claims end-to-end.

nEnsure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

n

nAnalysis & Reporting:

nAnalyze claim trends and provide insights to risk, legal, and finance teams.

nPrepare detailed MIS reports and dashboards on claims status, turnaround time (TAT), loss ratios,

netc.

n

nStakeholder Coordination:

nWork closely with internal teams (legal, operations, HR, finance) to gather facts and documents.

nProvide guidance to business units on claims process and policy coverage.

n

nPolicy & Compliance :

nEnsure claims are managed in accordance with policy terms, SLAs, and legal guidelines.

nParticipate in periodic claims audits and risk assessments.

n

nContinuous Improvement:

nSuggest improvements to the claims management process and documentation standards.





nMaintain knowledge of changing insurance regulations and industry best practices.

n

nQualifications & Skills:

nBachelor’s degree (mandatory); Master’s degree or insurance certifications (like CII, IRDA, AICLA)

npreferred.

n3–8 years of relevant experience in corporate/general insurance claims.

nStrong understanding of policy wordings and claim procedures across multiple lines.

nProficiency in MS Excel, claims software/CRM tools.

nExcellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

nFamiliarity with insurer portals and TPA coordination.

nLegal background or exposure to litigation-related claims is a plus.

n

nPreferred Experience :

nExperience handling group health, property damage, business interruption, marine, or liability

nclaims.
