Role Description The Business Manager at Forma & Heir is a contract, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations and supporting sustainable growth. This role includes managing budgeting and financial tracking, coordinating production and supply chain activities, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

The Business

Manager will collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, analyze business performance metrics, and identify process improvements that align with the brand’s eco-conscious values.



Additional responsibilities include vendor and partner management, basic contract administration, and cross-functional communication with design, marketing, and customer support teams.

Qualifications

- Business operations and administration skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Project and process management skills, with the ability to coordinate timelines, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Vendor, supplier, and partner management skills, including contract coordination and relationship-building.
- Analytical and reporting skills, such as proficiency with spreadsheets, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting.
- Understanding of sustainable business practices or interest in eco-conscious, design-driven brands.
- Relevant experience in business management, operations, or a similar role; experience in design, home decor, or manufacturing is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
