Backend Engineer

Exp: 7+ Years | Loc: Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Backend Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our engineering team, responsible for designing and building robust, scalable backend systems. You will work on complex business problems, leveraging modern technologies like Java, Spring, and GCP to deliver high-performance solutions that drive digital transformation and improve user experiences globally.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborating in a cross functional product team and with other teams on solving customer problems by

delivering product functionalities and support;
- Being involved in all phases of software engineering, from inception to coding, testing, delivery and

operation;
- Developing high quality code that follows best practices and clean code principles;

- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security and performance;

- Collaborating with other engineers or team members on various layers of the infrastructure, in order to

design and launch current features;
- Interacting with the client in order to understand and characterize their needs and advise them if necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required key competencies and qualifications:





- Profound knowledge in Java (7+ years) and enthusiasm for automating/scaling tests and deployments

(Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience solving complex business/technical problems in an ambitious team environment.

- 7+ years experience with GCP and knowledge of IaC (Terraform).

- Passion for continuous learning and digital improvement.

- Interested in microservices and splitting large projects into manageable subprojects.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and Cassandra).

- 7+ years experience with Spring.

- Strong focus on security when designing applications.

- Excitement for new technologies and trends.

- Fluent in English (written and verbal).

- Experience with Datadog is a plus.

Pay: ₹140,000.00 per month

- There is No PF or ESI due to contract position. The payroll is from sourcedear (third party) and the pay is fixed at 1,40,000 per month take home. Are you okay with this?
