Role Description The Backlink Specialist is responsible for planning and executing backlink acquisition strategies to improve clients’ search engine rankings and online authority. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating link-building opportunities, conducting outreach to relevant websites, monitoring backlink profiles, and ensuring compliance with search engine guidelines. The specialist will collaborate with SEO and content teams to align backlink efforts with overall digital marketing goals and report on performance metrics regularly.

This is a contract, on-site role based in Bengaluru,



requiring close coordination with internal stakeholders and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in backlink building, off-page SEO, and link prospecting, with a strong understanding of search engine ranking factors.
- Proficiency in using SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, Google Analytics) to analyze backlink profiles and identify opportunities.
- Robust research and communication skills for outreach, relationship building with web publishers, and evaluating site relevance and authority.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with SEO, content, and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles, including content marketing and social media, and understanding of safe, white-hat link-building practices.
- Relevant education or certifications in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field are beneficial; prior agency or in-house SEO experience is a plus.
