WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the Global Technology organization working on Nike’s internal Consumer Product & Innovation software tools for enabling creation of Nike’s Footwear and Apparel and report to the team’s Software Engineering Manager based in Bengaluru. You will collaborate with a team of engineers in partnership with the team’s Product Manager working on software projects to achieve Nike’s business objectives. You will also collaborate with biz stakeholders under the guidance of your manager.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to solve complex software engineering problems supporting Nike’s pursuit of delivering state of the art tools to our product developers and broader creation community. The candidate needs to be highly collaborative with peers, productive in a rapid-paced development workplace and have depth of native cloud software engineering experience.

What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree




5+ years of hands-on industry software development experience building and supporting modern architectures such as REST, domain-driven design, and microservices
Demonstrated expertise in Node.js, Python, or similar programming languages, with experience building cloud-native distributed systems
Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3
Experience developing and supporting highly available microservices, Lambdas, and applications using modern testing methodologies and frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, and Jest
Robust understanding of architectural design patterns and computer science fundamentals
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, Flexbox, semantic markup, accessibility, and design methodologies such as OOCSS, BEM, and Atomic design
