Job Summary
Sree Anandha Bhavan Vegetarian Restaurant, Kottayam, is looking for a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic numerical ability, and a qualified attitude toward customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily cash and digital payment transactions accurately.
Generate bills and process customer payments efficiently.
Maintain proper records of cash, bills, and daily transactions.
Handle POS/billing software and other cashier-related systems.
Verify cash balances and report any discrepancies to the management.
Assist customers with billing and payment-related queries.
Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth billing operations.
Maintain a clean and organized billing counter.
Follow restaurant policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any relevant discipline.
0–5 years of experience in cashier, billing, retail, hospitality, or a similar role.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing/POS systems will be an advantage.
Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
Responsible, punctual, and customer-oriented.
Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
