A hostess is mainly responsible for welcoming and managing guests at the restaurant entrance. Typical duties include:
Greeting guests warmly when they arrive.
Checking reservations and managing the seating plan.
Escorting guests to their tables.
Providing menus and explaining basic restaurant information.
Managing waiting lists during busy periods.
Coordinating with waiters, supervisors, and kitchen staff.
Handling guest requests and directing complaints to the appropriate person.
Maintaining a pleasant and qualified appearance.
Saying goodbye to guests and thanking them for visiting.

Waitress role

A waitress is more directly involved in serving food and beverages. Dutiesgenerally include:
Taking food and drink orders.




Serving food and beverages to guests.
Explaining menu items when required.
Setting and clearing tables.
Checking on guests during their meal.
Communicating special requests or dietary requirements to the kitchen.
Preparing and presenting bills.
Processing or coordinating payments according to hotel procedures.
Maintaining cleanliness and proper table setup.
Providing courteous customer service.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
