Position: Estimation, Costing & Tendering Engineer – Electrical

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Estimation, Costing & Tendering Engineer – Electrical to handle electrical project estimation, costing, tender preparation, and commercial documentation. The candidate should have positive knowledge of electrical systems, BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, vendor quotations, and tender processes.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed electrical project estimates and cost calculations.
Study electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
Prepare BOQ, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and costing.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial tender documents.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Compare vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Coordinate with the Engineering, Procurement, Projects, and Sales teams for project requirements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and specifications.




Assist in preparing tender proposals, techno-commercial offers, and final quotations.
Follow up on tender clarifications, revisions, and submission requirements.
Maintain estimation, costing, and tender records for future reference.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Electrical Estimation, Costing & Tendering.
Good understanding of electrical materials, equipment, and installations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and BOQs.
Knowledge of MS Excel and estimation/costing tools.
Good analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
Robust communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines.

Educational Qualification
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent.

Experience
2–3 years of relevant experience in Electrical Estimation, Costing, Tendering, EPC, MEP, or Electrical Projects.

CTC: ₹3.00–4.00 LPA, based on experience, skills, and interview performance.
