ROLE OF OPHTHALMOLOGIST: TO EXAMINE, DIAGNOSE, AND MANAGE EYE-RELATED CONDITIONS, PERFORM NECESSARY OPHTHALMIC PROCEDURES/SURGERIES, PRESCRIBE APPROPRIATE TREATMENT, AND PROVIDE PRE- AND POST-OPERATIVE CARE.
Main responsibilities:
Examination of eyes and assessment of vision
Diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, conjunctivitis, refractive errors, diabetic retinopathy, etc.
Performing eye procedures and surgeries, including cataract surgery
Prescribing spectacles, contact lenses, and appropriate medications
Managing eye injuries, infections, and other ocular emergencies
Performing pre-operative and post-operative eye assessments
Conselling the Patient
Maintaining proper medical records and providing clinical documentation
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
