Carry out meter replacement as per AEML-approved procedure.
Safely isolate supply and remove existing meter, wherever applicable.
Install and connect recent meter correctly.
Check meter functionality, wiring, polarity and connections.
Record old and current meter numbers and readings accurately.
Install/verify seals as applicable.
Capture before/after photographs and required field data.
Verify meter installation and functionality before completion of the job.
Restore supply after successful installation/testing.
Identify and report abnormal wiring, damaged service connections or unsafe conditions.
Inform the supervisor about any technical issue preventing meter replacement.
Handle meters, tools and materials carefully.
Return removed meters, defective meters and unused materials to the designated store.
Maintain proper job-wise documentation.
Support field verification and consumer-related activities as assigned.
Follow all safety procedures and use prescribed PPE.
Maintain skilled behaviour while interacting with consumers.
