Job Summary
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer (Costing) with hands-on experience in the knit garment industry. The candidate will be responsible for SAM/SMV calculation, thread consumption, feasibility analysis, style handover, and supporting IE activities during garment development and production.
Key Responsibilities
Calculate SAM/SMV for recent garment styles.
Prepare and verify thread consumption calculations.
Conduct feasibility meetings with relevant departments.
Participate in BE / Style Handover Meetings.
Identify and resolve IE-related issues during development and production.
Support garment construction, sewing operations, and style development.
Analyse sewing operations and provide IE inputs for production efficiency and costing.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth style development and production.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of SAM / SMV calculation.
Hands-on experience in Thread Consumption.
Good understanding of Garment Construction and Sewing Operations.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel.
Valuable English communication skills – Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Candidate Profile
2+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering / Costing.
Knit garment manufacturing experience is preferred.
Experience in garment development, costing, and production-related IE activities will be an advantage.
Proactive, analytical, and willing to learn.
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech. preferred
UG/PG in Textile Engineering or related fields will also be considered.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
