Electrical Site Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience in solar project execution typically manages in office electrical installations, testing, and commissioning for solar photovoltaic (PV) plants.
Key Responsibilities
Execution & Supervision: Oversee the installation of solar modules, inverters, HT/LT panels, transformers, and cable laying.
Quality & Safety: Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations, safety guidelines (HSE), and approved drawings.
Testing & Commissioning: Support pre-commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of balance of plant (BOP) equipment.
Coordination: Manage in office contractors, vendors, and daily progress reporting to project managers. [1, 2, 3]
Requirements
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 4 years in ground-mount or rooftop solar EPC projects.
