Patent Associate / Patent Consultant (Nutrition/Packaging)

OBJECTIVE OF THE FUNCTION FOR NUTRITION:

Coordinate the necessary Intellectual Property activities within assigned scope to provide optimum support to all Business Units in handling patent matters related to:
Enteral & Parenteral Nutrition including pharmaceutical matters
Patent landscaping, patent drafting, patent invalidation and freedom to operate analysis
Conduct comprehensive patent landscape analysis for products primarily related to Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition
Supporting strategic market entry decisions for global initiatives
Retrieve and evaluate patent data from specialized databases
Perform Freedom to Operate (FTO) searches and prepare detailed evaluation reports to assess potential risks and prospects
Manage patent-related matters in the Nutrition domain, including filing and prosecution of patent applications for innovations developed by Nutrition Scientists.

Coordinate the necessary Intellectual Property activities within assigned scope to provide optimum support to all Business Units in handling patent matters related to:
Pharmaceutical and Medical Nutrition Packaging (for instance vials, ampoules, bottles, bags, pouches, blisters, syringes including their components, materials, and production),
Process engineering related to Pharmaceutical and Medical Nutrition product production (including hardware and software aspects), and
Automated Compounders (including hardware and software aspects).

Handling patent matters includes:
searches and analyses for patent landscaping, patent invalidation, patentability and freedom to operate analyses,
patent application drafting, and
patent application filing and prosecution.
