Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Engineer – Procurement & Sourcing to support our R&D; and product development activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Source electronic, electrical, mechanical, sensor and custom-made components for R&D; and prototype projects.
Identify and develop reliable vendors for specialized and low-volume components.
Work closely with R&D;, Design, Production and Quality teams to understand technical requirements.
Prepare and evaluate RFQs based on BOMs, engineering drawings, specifications and datasheets.
Handle vendor evaluation, negotiation, costing and supplier development.
Manage procurement for prototypes, trials, NPI/NPD and recent product builds.
Track material availability,



lead times and procurement timelines.
Ensure incoming materials meet required quality and technical specifications.
Maintain RFQs, POs, BOMs, technical evaluation and procurement documentation.
Support transition of prototype BOMs to production-ready BOMs.

Required Skills
Technical Procurement / Sourcing experience.
Experience in EMS, Electronics Manufacturing, Automotive, R&D; or Manufacturing industry.
Positive understanding of BOM, RFQ, engineering drawings and datasheets.
Experience in vendor/supplier development and negotiation.
Knowledge of electronic/electrical/mechanical components.
Experience in R&D; / Prototype / NPI / NPD procurement will be preferred.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
ERP and MS Excel knowledge.

Preferred: BE/MBA in Supply Chain Management.
