Role & responsibilities
Own end-to-end mechanical design of SPM and automation systems from initial concept to final prototype and manufacturing.
Create 3D models, sub-assemblies, and exact 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD.
Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, machine kinematics, and component selection.
Select standard off-the-shelf parts including pneumatics, actuators, drives, bearings, and motors.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) standards.
Create Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation for assembly.

Preferred candidate profile
Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 6 years
Software: Hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Solid Edge.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanism design, sheet metal design, weldments, and factory automation
