Role & responsibilities
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas.
Clean and sanitize all utensils, dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment in compliance with FSSAI and internal hygiene protocols.
Assist kitchen and service staff during operations by organizing and replenishing ingredients, crockery, and cutlery.
Support in basic food preparation and plating if required.
Ensure proper garbage disposal and segregation as per sustainability guidelines.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform supervisor of replenishment needs.
Help set up and break down service areas before and after operations.
Handle cleaning and upkeep of restrooms and common guest areas.
Follow SOPs and health & safety standards at all times.
Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries; ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO method).

Preferred candidate profile

Education/ Qualification:
Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management from a recognized institute.

Experience:
1 to 5 years of experience as a steward or in a similar role in premium hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or high-end cafs.
