Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Banking domain, data modelling, SQL/PL SQL, ETL and data analysis. The candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements and translating them into effective technical data solutions.
Mandatory Skills
Solid hands-on experience in SQL / PL SQL
5.5 to 7 years of overall experience
Experience in the Banking domain
Strong understanding of Data Modelling
Experience with ETL
Knowledge of Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models
Experience in Data Lineage and Source-to-Target Mapping
Good to Have
Experience working in Unix / Linux environment
Wholesale Banking product/domain knowledge
Data Profiling
Data Gap Analysis
Complex data transformations
Strong understanding of data management practices
Key Responsibilities
Understand business requirements and translate them into sustainable data model and technical solutions
Design and document conceptual, logical and physical data models
Prepare and maintain end-to-end Data Lineage documentation
Perform source-to-target mapping including complex transformations
Conduct data profiling and data gap analysis
Work closely with developers and testers during development and testing
Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to understand and deliver business requirements
Support the Module Lead and work effectively as part of the team
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Prepare technical documentation and presentations
Demonstrate strong analytical, data management and problem-solving skills
Work independently as a self-starter in a quick-paced workplace
Candidate Profile
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good presentation and documentation skills
Ability to work independently with general guidelines
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers and business stakeholders
Strong understanding of banking/wholesale banking processes will be preferred
Important: Only profiles with 5.5 to 7 years of experience should be considered. Profiles with more than 7 years of experience should not be shared, as the requirement is specifically for U3 Band.
