Role & responsibilities
Software skill - Unigraphics NX (primary requirement), Catia V5
To conceptualize, integrate and Design seat frames, Foam, Plastic and Trims for passenger vehicles
Able to understand and implement customer requirements and prepare Seat design as per RFQ.
Able to design complete seats, foam, plastic & understanding trimming as FSS from RFI/RFQ stage till SOP + life cycle.
Should conceptualize components/mechanisms design and integrate in complete seats.
Should be able to prepare 3D cad, 2D drawings and layout for study.
Able to review/update DFMEA/ DFM/ DFA/ DFA/ DVP/ GD&T;
Should have detailed know how of Homologation/Regulations and testing methods for AIS, ECE etc.
Know-how detailed SEAT engineering techniques, design guidelines and rules





Preferred candidate profile
BE/B.Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production or related engineering discipline.
Hands-on experience in UGNX (NX)/CATIA V5
Experience in Automotive Complete Seating design and development.
Robust experience in designing Seat Frame, Foam, Plastic, Trims and related seating components.
Valuable knowledge of 3D modeling, 2D detailing, assembly design and GD&T;.
Understanding of automotive seating integration, and vehicle interfaces.
Experience working from RFI/RFQ through development up to SOP will be preferred.
