Key Responsibilities
Tool design and development using UG NX software.
Design and modification of plastic injection moulds and tooling.
Feasibility study and DFM review for recent products.
Preparation of 3D models, 2D drawings, BOM, and manufacturing documents.
Coordination with tool room, production, quality, and suppliers for tool development.
Tool trials, validation, and troubleshooting during development stage.
Analysis and implementation of engineering changes (ECN/ECR).
Monitoring tool manufacturing activities and ensuring project timelines are achieved.
Root cause analysis of tooling issues and implementation of corrective actions.
Cost optimization and productivity improvement through design modifications.

Required Skills
Proficiency in UG NX (Unigraphics NX CAD).
Robust knowledge of Plastic Injection Mould Design.




Understanding of tooling manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, EDM, Wire Cut, Grinding, and Assembly.
Knowledge of GD&T;, engineering drawings, and tolerance stack-up.
Experience in tool trial, validation, and process improvement.
Valuable problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
Thick lens , 2k and 3k mould .

Educational Qualification
Diploma ( CIPET)/ B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering.
Tool & Die related certifications will be an added advantage.
