Role Description The Assistant role at Shalimar Paints is a full time, in office position based in Durgapur. The individual in this role will support daily operations, including coordinating documentation, assisting with inventory or order management, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities may include helping with office administration, liaising with internal teams, supporting customer or vendor communication, and preparing basic reports or summaries as needed. The Assistant will work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow,



timely completion of tasks, and adherence to company processes. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.

Qualifications
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, data entry tools) and comfort working with spreadsheets or documentation systems.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, customers, and vendors.
Ability to work in office in Durgapur, collaborate with others, and follow established procedures and guidelines.
Attention to detail, reliability, and a customer-focused mindset when supporting operations and service delivery.
Prior experience in administrative, operations, or support roles in manufacturing, retail, or paint/chemicals industry is an advantage.
Minimum educational qualification: completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in commerce, business, or a related field is preferred.
