About the Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Tester with strong experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
Understand and analyze the testing requirements of the project
Design and implement effective test automation strategies
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java and Selenium
Create and maintain BDD scenarios and frameworks using Cucumber
Review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage
Identify, document, and track defects and issues
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams
Prepare and review test reports and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones
Communicate testing progress and issues to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
5–8 years of experience in software testing and automation
Robust analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Required Skills
Proficiency in Core Java and Selenium
Strong experience with Cucumber and BDD
Good understanding of automation testing concepts
Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks
Preferred Skills
Experience with JUnit and Mockito
Knowledge of REST Assured
Experience with JMeter
Familiarity with Protractor
Robust knowledge of BDD frameworks
