Designing, developing, and testing various types of machines, structures, and systems
Using computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software to create blueprints and schematics
Performing detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards and specifications
Inspecting installations and observing operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
Researching and analyzing data such as customer design proposals,



specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
Preparing specifications for purchases of materials and equipment
Overseeing project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget
Writing performance requirements for product development or engineering projects
Maintaining logs and compiling data regarding overall project performance and trends
Proven work experience as an Engineer or similar role.
Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
Ability to work within deadlines and budget.
Project management and supervision skills.
BS degree in Engineering or relevant field.
