Role Description This full-time, in office Safety Officer role is based in Sonipat and supports the implementation of EHS policies and procedures at the facility.

The Safety

Officer will conduct regular workplace inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring compliance with safety regulations, assisting with risk assessments, and maintaining documentation related to incidents, training, and audits. The role involves leading and coordinating safety trainings, supporting accident investigations,



and working closely with management and employees to improve safety awareness.

The Safety

Officer will also collaborate with security and operations teams to ensure integrated safety and emergency response plans.

Qualifications
Solid foundation in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to apply relevant regulations and standards.
Experience in Accident Investigation and Safety Training to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and deliver effective training programs.
Understanding of Security practices as they relate to workplace safety and emergency preparedness.
Relevant diploma or degree in EHS, safety engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
Knowledge of local and national occupational safety legislation and compliance requirements.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels in safety initiatives.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in reports and records.
Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment in Sonipat or similar settings is an advantage.
