Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
Source raw materials, engineering components, spare parts, consumables, and other required materials.
Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize commercial terms.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.
Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve delivery-related issues.
Ensure purchased materials meet required quality specifications.
Coordinate with Quality and Stores teams for material inspection and receipt.
Maintain purchase records, supplier documentation, quotations, and purchase orders.
Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving prospects.
Track pending orders, lead times, shortages, and critical materials.
Develop alternate suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Handle supplier performance evaluation and vendor development activities.
Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements and priorities.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
