NKey Responsibilities

Develop and maintain network automation scripts and tools using Python. N
Automate network configuration, provisioning, monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting activities. N
Work extensively with network switches and routers across L2/L3 environments. N
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies. N
Develop automation workflows using APIs, SSH, NETCONF/RESTCONF, and other network interfaces. N
Integrate automation solutions with network management and monitoring platforms. N
Perform network health checks, configuration compliance, and operational validation. N
Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues. N
Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to identify automation opportunities. N
Maintain technical documentation,

nRequired Skills

Solid programming/scripting experience in Python. N
Hands-on experience with network routers and switches. N
Strong understanding ofL2/L3 networking concepts. N
Valuable knowledge of: N
VLAN, Trunking, STP N
TCP/IP, DHCP, DNSn
Routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP N
IP addressing and subnetting N
HSRP/VRRPn
Experience with network automation frameworks and libraries such as Netmiko, NAPALM, Paramiko, or Ansible. N
Understanding of REST APIs and network device automation. N
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. N
Experience with Git/version control and basic CI/CD concepts is preferred. N

nPreferred Qualifications

Cisco certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are preferred. N
Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS. N
