Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech – Civil Engineering

Role Overview

n

We are looking for an experienced Highway Design Engineer with robust expertise in highway and geometric design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MX Road or OpenRoads and a strong understanding of IRC and MoRTH standards.

n

The candidate will be responsible for developing highway designs, engineering drawings, design documentation and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

n

Key Responsibilities:-

n

Develop geometric designs for highways, including horizontal and vertical alignments.
n
Prepare detailed engineering drawings including plans, profiles and cross-sections.
n
Design and develop intersections, interchanges, service roads and junction improvements.
n
Perform or support flexible and rigid pavement design based on traffic and soil data.
n
Analyze survey and other project data, including topographic, traffic and GPR information, for design inputs.
n
Design highway drainage systems including side drains, culverts and stormwater management systems.
n
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs and cost estimates.




n
Prepare design reports, technical specifications and other project documentation.
n
Ensure designs comply with applicable IRC, MoRTH and relevant standards.
n
Coordinate with structural, geotechnical, environmental and other multidisciplinary teams.
n
Review drawings, calculations and design outputs to ensure accuracy and quality.
n
Participate in client meetings and support design approvals.
n
Address client comments and incorporate design revisions within the required turnaround time.
n
Provide technical support during construction and assist in resolving site-related design issues.
n
Ensure timely delivery of design outputs as per project schedules.

Mandatory Skills

n

n
7–15 years of relevant Highway Design experience
n
MX Road OR OpenRoads – Mandatory
n
Strong experience in Highway / Geometric Design
n
Horizontal & vertical alignment design
n
Plan, profile and cross-section preparation
n
Robust knowledge of IRC & MoRTH specifications
n
Valuable understanding of pavement and drainage design
n
Experience in highway/interchange/junction design
