Job Description – webMethods & Azure APIM AdministratorLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H)Experience: 6–10 YearsRole SummaryWe are looking for a webMethods & Azure APIM Administrator with strong experience in middleware administration, API management, and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Software AG webMethods Suite and Azure API Management (APIM) environments, ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and availability.Required Skills6–10 years of experience in webMethods Administration, Middleware Support, or API Management.Hands-on experience with:webMethods Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Trading Networks, My webMethods ServerAzure API Management (APIM)Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Linux/Unix Administration and Shell ScriptingCI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLabStrong understanding of:REST/SOAP APIsOAuth, JWT,
SSL/TLSKubernetes concepts and administrationMiddleware architecture and API gatewaysExperience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.Exposure to Azure cloud and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support webMethods and Azure APIM environments.Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.Manage API gateways, policies, certificates, subscriptions, and security configurations.Deploy and support containerized workloads on Docker and AKS.Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.Support CI/CD deployments and release management activities.Implement high availability, failover, and disaster recovery solutions.Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure smooth operations.Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise-scale integration and API platforms in a 24x7 production workplace.
