A fast-growing consumer technology company is expanding its manufacturing and refurbishment operations through a strategic OEM partner in Bangalore.A significant proportion of the company's device assembly is currently carried out at this OEM facility. The scope of operations is now being expanded to include refurbishment activities and in-house manufacturing of plastic cabinets through injection moulding.We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Operations Manager / OEM Operations Lead who will act as the company's dedicated representative at the OEM facility and take end-to-end ownership of operations.The role will involve overseeing the complete operational ecosystem at the facility—from procurement coordination and supplier management to assembly, refurbishment, injection moulding, quality, cost management and adherence to company SOPs.The individual will be responsible for ensuring that the OEM facility consistently delivers against expected standards of quality, cost, delivery,



efficiency and operational discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End OEM Operations ManagementAct as the dedicated company representative at the OEM manufacturing facilityDrive and oversee the complete manufacturing and operational activities carried out for the companyAssembly OperationsRefurbishment OperationsInjection Moulding & Plastic ComponentsProcurement & Supplier CoordinationQuality & Process ControlCost & Operational EfficiencySOP Compliance & GovernanceCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should be an experienced, hands-on manufacturing operations professional capable of independently managing a complex OEM-based operation.EducationBachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Tool & Die Making, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.Additional qualifications in Operations, Manufacturing Management or Business Management will be an advantage.Experience & SkillsRelevant experience in manufacturing, factory or plant operations.Experience with plastic components, polymers and/or injection moulding would be highly desirable.Experience managing operations at a vendor, contract manufacturing or OEM facility would be an added advantage.Highly hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with shop-floor and vendor teams.Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.What We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate is someone who can own the operation end-to-end, rather than someone who is responsible only for production.
