Job Summary

JD(Technical) Manage data using LVM and VXFS for efficient storage allocation and management. Manage and optimize server performance ,including resource allocation and troubleshooting Provide advanced troubleshooting for RHEL servers boot issue & other complex issue. Automate required tasks using scripting and automation tools Ansible. Logical /Physical Partition management & configuration LVM/VXFS Efficient in understanding log analysis (sar, dmesg, journalctl, system logs) for troubleshooting and root cause. Understanding for user management accounts ,permissions including DAC . Manage and maintain storage area networks (SAN) & Network attached Storage(NAS) and other storage solutions. Able to understand protocols of HTTP/S,DNS,SMTP,SSH,NFS,CIFS etc Responsible for operational support and maintenance servers located globally, running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution. System monitoring ,analyse and document performance and conduct trend analyses as required Implement and maintain high availability solutions, including failover /cluster configuration (Veritas) Good in creating shell scripting and Ansible Playbook. Working knowledge of LDAP servers. Others Knowledge of ITIL process Working knowledge of Ticketing tools Service Now Tickets resolution through incidents, problems and different requests from the clients or other infrastructure teams Should be available for 24/7 support, which is mandatory. This project need support in Shift wise ( Night/Eve/Moring ) Shift with Rotation Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with others team
