About the Role

We are looking for experienced Engineering Experts in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering to support AI evaluation and engineering simulation projects.

You will create and validate engineering problems, work with simulation tools, analyze AI-generated solutions, and identify technical and reasoning failures.

Key Responsibilities

- Create complex engineering design and simulation problems with clear constraints and optimization goals.
- Develop and validate reference solutions and objective evaluation methods.
- Build and run simulation environments using open-source tools and Python.
- Review AI/LLM-generated outputs and execution logs to identify technical and reasoning failures.
- Analyze failure patterns and improve problem difficulty based on model performance.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineering experts to improve evaluation benchmarks.
- Ensure technical accuracy, physical plausibility, unit consistency, and appropriate boundary/convergence conditions.

Requirements

- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 10+ years of hands-on engineering design experience.
- Strong Python scripting skills.
- Experience with at least one relevant open-source simulation tool, such as OpenFOAM, FEniCSx, CalculiX, ngspice/PySpice, python-control, CadQuery, OpenModelica, Cantera, or Gmsh.
- Experience with LLMs, coding agents, or AI evaluation is preferred.




- Strong understanding of engineering accuracy, physical plausibility, and technical validation.
- Ability to work remotely with a personal laptop/desktop and stable high-speed internet.

Availability

- 40 hours per week
- Minimum 4 hours of overlap with PST
- Weekend on-call availability required.
