Job Description :

We are looking for a Dairy Technologist – Sales who has good knowledge of the dairy industry and experience in sales, customer handling, product demonstrations, and business development. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing existing clients, and promoting dairy testing products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the dairy industry.
- Visit dairy plants, milk collection centers, laboratories, and other potential customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and presentations for customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable dairy testing solutions.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with the technical/service team for support.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to regional business growth.
- Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, and maintain sales records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dairy plants, cooperatives, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Coordinate product installation, trials, and post-sales support when required.




- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in dairy sales, technical sales, food testing equipment, dairy products, or related industries.
- Good understanding of dairy processing, milk quality testing, and dairy plant operations.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits, demonstrations, and trials.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and basic reporting.
- Target-oriented and capable of working independently.

Preferred Experience :

Experience in selling dairy testing equipment, laboratory instruments, milk testing solutions, or quality-control products will be an added advantage.
