Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, payments, receipts, GST-related work, and reconciliation. The candidate will work closely with management and other departments to maintain accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting entries for sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain and update cash and bank books.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Manage cash transactions and petty cash.
- Record and verify expenses and supporting documents.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with CA and external auditors for accounting and taxation requirements.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.




- Handle accounting for retail stores, wholesale operations, warehouses, and exhibitions.
- Reconcile sales and collections from exhibitions and retail locations.
- Verify daily sales reports and cash/card/UPI collections.
- Track expenses related to exhibitions, transportation, staff, hotels, venues, and logistics.
- Assist management with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis.
- Ensure accuracy of all accounting entries and financial records.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, garments, or trading businesses preferred.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience with Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Good knowledge of bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
