BOLTORQ INFRACON PRIVATE LIMITED WE ARE HIRING Senior Product Development Engineer – Electric & Hydraulic Torque Tools Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Experience: 5–8 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. – Mechanical / Mechatronics CTC: ₹8–10 LPA, depending on experience and technical capability About the Role BOLTORQ is looking for a technically strong Senior Product Development Engineer to lead the design and development of our electric and hydraulic torque wrench product range. This is a hands-on product-development position for an engineer who can convert engineering concepts into working industrial products. Key Responsibilities - Design and develop electric and hydraulic torque wrenches. - Develop products from concept through prototype, testing and production. - Perform torque, force, pressure, power, shaft and gearbox calculations. - Design hydraulic cylinders, drive mechanisms, reaction arms and related components. - Develop electric motor, gearbox and planetary reduction systems. - Prepare 3D models, manufacturing drawings, assemblies and BOMs. - Select materials, bearings, seals, gears and other critical components. - Conduct prototype testing, endurance testing and torque-accuracy validation. - Identify product failures and implement design improvements. - Coordinate with machining, fabrication, assembly and production teams. - Develop cost-effective designs suitable for Indian manufacturing. - Prepare technical documentation and product specifications. Required Technical Skills Must have: - Solid mechanical product-design fundamentals.



- Practical hydraulic-system knowledge. - Machine-design calculations. - Gearbox / power-transmission knowledge. - SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor or equivalent. - Manufacturing and CNC machining understanding. - GD&T; and engineering drawing knowledge. - Prototype development and testing experience. Preferred: - Hydraulic torque tools - Electric torque tools - Bolt tensioning equipment - Hydraulic power packs - Industrial power tools - Planetary gearboxes - Torque measurement/calibration systems - FEA Candidate Profile We are looking for an engineer who is: Hands-on | Analytical | Product-oriented | Manufacturing-aware | Problem-solving Candidates whose experience is limited primarily to 2D drafting/CAD modelling without actual product-development responsibility will not be preferred.
