Job Title: VMC Setter (Expert Level)

Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled VMC Setters with expert-level proficiency in Fanuc controllers. The role involves setting up machines, proving out new components as per engineering drawings, and ensuring process capability with complete ownership of machining setup and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) for production and part proving.
Perform fixture and work-holding setups, component alignment, and dialing with precision.
Establish and verify tool offsets, work offsets, and part orientations.
Prove out recent components and validate machining processes before production release.
Optimize cutting parameters and tool paths for productivity and surface finish.
Collaborate with programmers and production engineers to refine machining processes.




Ensure machine readiness, calibration, and upkeep for consistent accuracy.
Maintain documentation related to setups, offsets, and process parameters.
Adhere to safety, quality, and 5S standards within the machining area.

Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in VMC setting and part proving.
Solid hands-on experience with Fanuc controllers.
